課程概述 |
The course is designed to assist students develop their knowledge and skills in understanding and applying theories/concepts of leadership and management in nursing. Trends of health care organizations, skills in nursing management (eg. decision making, problem solving, time management...), and staff management and development will be studied. |

課程目標 |
1. know health care organizations and their impact on nursing care
2. comprehend the key skills in nursing management
3. comprehend the basic concepts of resources management
4. apply above concepts to analyze the management/leadership problems in nursing practice |

Lecture and class discussion
Class presentations

1. PPT preview closes every Monday.
3. Applying real case scenarios in term paper.
4. Oral presentation highlights major points from textbook and cites references from evident sources.
5. Expanding scopes and depths of participation in class discussions.
